Mr. Pilcher provides expert assistance in complex family- and employment-based immigration matters, asylum, inadmissibility waivers, removal and deportation, lawful permanent residency, and naturalization cases. In his more than 16 years of practice as an attorney, Mr. Pilcher has successfully represented hundreds of clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Customs and Enforcement, Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and U.S. embassies and consulate offices across the world.

Mr. Pilcher is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and serves on the board of directors for the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition (CAIR Coalition) and Ayuda, a nonprofit organization that provides legal and social services to immigrant communities in the Washington, DC area. He is a frequent lecturer at Washington, D.C. area law schools, law firms, and bar associations, where he speaks on topics such as asylum, adjustment of status, waivers, and removal defense. Prior to joining Dzubow, Sarapu & Pilcher, PLLC as a partner, Mr. Pilcher was a senior managing attorney at Whitman-Walker Clinic Legal Services in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and an undergraduate of Emory University. He speaks Spanish.
